The Organisation for Tourism and Hospitality Management
OTHM Individual Certificates
OTHM launched six new Management Certificates with examinations commencing June 2007. Each module is taught over 30 GLH (Guided Learning Hours) and is available in edition to the established OTHM Introductory Certificate and Professional Certificate, Diploma and Higher Diploma.
Target Groups
- Existing OTHM students at listed OTHM centres
- Other Business Studies students who wish to take one or more of the six certificates
- Individuals currently working in the Tourism and Hospitality Supply Chain
- CPD Training for OTHM members
- Understanding of the operations, structure and culture of the industry
Eligibility
Existing OTHM students must be on Professional Certificate, Professional Diploma or Professional Higher Diploma level.
OTHM students on Introductory Certificate must first pass their Introductory level to apply for examination entry for the new Management Certificate.
Academic Level
The Aims, Objectives and Learning outcomes are positioned at a similar level to the OTHM Professional Certificate. However, these are specialist Operational Areas that will require some additional commitment and reading from students and other candidates.

Special Note for centres:
OTHM centres who wish to offer these new modules may purchase the power points on an individual basis or as a package of six modules. Fee £100 per module or £450 for all six. Cheques or drafts payable to OTHM - c/o The Registrar OTHM.
