We have been running the OTHM since September 2005, MTC were the first college outside London running the OTHM programme and we believe we are the leading tuition provider of the OTHM course in Manchester, reflecting this in our three OTHM award winners for 2007. We have seen a steady growth in the number of students requesting information about the course and enrolling on to the OTHM course.

Manchester Trinity College has always had a close working relationship with OTHM, we have seen the partnership continually grow. The OTHM brand is growing stronger and our college is seeing the benefits of the efforts of OTHM.

Many of OTHM our students are gaining much necessary experience within the Tourism and Hospitality industry. Many of them are working for the leading hotel chains and global catering establishment.

Hotel Solutions - Consultancy Services

The Board of Hotel Solutions institute of catering and Hotel Management the owners of Marble Suite Hotel Ibadan, has decided to undertake the instant employment of any OTHM qualified student in our establishment, presently we have three of them on our employment.

Also we will make provision for any practical experiences in the course of their training programme as partners in the development of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry in Nigeria and Abroad.

I became encouraged once I saw the OTHM program at London College of Law and Management (LCLM). The program has all the elements of a good solid program I was looking for, while also providing me with some flexibility on studying, as it is based on three individual levels. Our Lecturers are industry experienced and share their experiences with the students. The program also has a good group of students from international backgrounds bringing and sharing their experiences and know-how in the classroom and making the class discussions very enriching. This highly encouraged me to enrol in the program.

On a personal level, working in the Tourism and Hospitality industry has been my interest, and the OTHM Program at LCLM fits my future career and personal goals. I am doing a part-time job at Hilton London Metropole Hotel while I am studying this course. In fact I have been privileged to get this job because of my current course. Last year I was one of the OTHM award winners from LCLM for excellent exam results. I have always enjoyed travelling. This expands my horizon, introduces me to new cultures and broadens my knowledge about other countries. Obtaining a degree in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management will provide me with the opportunity of having a career in an area that I enjoy very much. Also, this will prepare me to contribute to my country, as the overall region I come from in South Asia is a thriving region with a strong emphasis on tourism to make the overall region a major attraction for international tourism.

Living in London, where tourism is a key economical contributor to the UK wealth, made me realise how important this sector is to the economical well-being of a country. Living in London encouraged me to pursue this program. I am really glad I did it here at LCLM.
