Occupational Health and Safety - Qualifications

Our qualifications are made up of the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) rules which provides flexible ways to get a qualification. Qualifications at the same level are a similar level of difficulty, but the size and content of the qualifications can vary.

Specialist qualifications

In addition to standard centre approval requirements, centres seeking to deliver the following qualifications must meet category-specific regulatory and resource requirements prior to delivery.

Occupational Health and Safety


Centres seeking approval to deliver Occupational Health and Safety qualifications must meet the additional Centre resource requirements.

Centres must also provide evidence that relevant staff hold, as a minimum, one of the following:

  • IOSH Graduate membership
  • NCRQ Level 6 Certificate in Applied Health and Safety
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
